Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Utility Row may collect through normal site operation, what happens to calculator inputs, and how analytics and advertising technologies may be used.

Last updated March 29, 2026

Scope

This policy applies to the public pages and calculators published on Utility Row.

It covers information collected automatically through normal site operation, built-in analytics events, and any third-party advertising or measurement services that may be enabled on the site.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, Utility Row may receive technical information such as IP address, requested page, referring page, browser type, device type, timestamp, and similar server or network log data.

Utility Row also records page-view and on-site interaction events, such as navigation clicks, tool opens, searches, calculator resets, and copy or share actions, so usage patterns can be understood and technical problems can be diagnosed.

Calculator inputs

Calculator inputs are intended to be processed in your browser so the page can generate an on-screen estimate.

Utility Row is not designed to treat the balances, rates, income figures, tax rates, or other numbers you enter as submitted account data, and its built-in analytics events do not intentionally include those calculator values.

How information may be used

Information may be used to operate the site, measure traffic, improve content, debug issues, protect against spam or invalid activity, and support advertising if ad services are enabled.

If a public contact method is added later, any information sent through that channel may be used to review the issue described and respond to the request.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

When analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, Utility Row and its vendors may use cookies, local storage, pixel tags, device identifiers, or similar technologies to remember preferences, measure usage, detect invalid traffic, and serve or measure ads.

Google explains how data from partner sites may be used at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. If Google advertising cookies are used on the site, Google and its partners may serve ads based on your visits to this site or other sites.

If consent is required in your region, the site may show a consent tool or limit certain technologies until the required choice is made.

  • You can review or change Google ad-personalization settings at adssettings.google.com.
  • You can also learn about industry opt-out tools at www.aboutads.info.
  • Most browsers also let you block, clear, or limit cookies directly in browser settings.

Sharing, retention, and security

Information may be disclosed to hosting providers, analytics vendors, advertising partners, security providers, or other service providers that help run the site.

Log and measurement data may be retained only as long as reasonably needed for site operation, analysis, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or vendor reporting. No website can promise perfect security, so you should avoid treating public calculators as a place to submit confidential financial information.

Children and updates

Utility Row is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may be updated as the site, vendors, or legal requirements change. The date shown at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
